Please explain the significance of the conflicts.
Also, what characters are the major characters?
Also explain the importance of minor characters such as Lucius, Cinna (the poet), and the Soothsayer.

  1. The significance of the conflicts in Act 1 of the Julius Caesar play was that it was so personal. For example one major conflict in Act 1 was the one between Caesar and Brutus. Brutus was known for having a family background that overthrew kings. The conflict in that was Caesar was best friends with Brutus. Some of the major characters in this play were Brutus, Caesar, and Cassius. There were many more big role characters but too many for me to list. The importance of minor characters in this play is that they can be the driving force of the major characters throughout the story. Isaac Gutierrez
